2025 Acura ZDX:  Pricing and Best Option to Buy

Acura ZDX 2025’s pricing depends on the model level and features you chose, ZDX is expected price to start from $66,000 and will go up to $75,000. An approximate breakdown of the initial costs for each modification is provided below:

  • A-Spec RWD: $66,000 (estimated)
  • A-Spec AWD: $70,000 (estimated)
  • Type S AWD: $75,000 (estimated)

For most buyers, it is recommended to choose the A-Spec AWD option. Almost as much HP is made by this version’s dual-motor all-wheel-drive system as by the performance-focused. Type S AWD but at a more affordable price. But for most drivers, the added performance features on the Type S don’t provide enough benefits to justify the extra cost.

If range is more important to you than power, select the A-Spec RWD version. With its single-motor configuration, this model maximizes driving range, while offering strong performance.

Overall,  the A-Spec AWD is our top pick for the 2025 Acura ZDX because it provides the best value balance and performance.

2025 Acura ZDX: EV Motor, Power, and Performance

The A-Spec model level of the standard 2025 Acura ZDX has a single, rear-mounted electric motor that generates 358 hp. An optional dual-motor system increases the output to 490 hp and offers all-wheel drive (AWD) for those looking for additional power and better stability.

The ZDX Type S, the top model in the list, has two electric motors that work together to produce an amazing 499 hp. Advanced equipment including Brembo brakes, 22-inch wheels, and air suspension with adjustable dampers are also included in this variation. Although all-season tires are standard, buyers can choose summer tires for improved performance.

The Type S model’s precision driving, smooth ride, and quiet cabin surprised us during testing. Limited steering feedback decreased driver involvement, and the handling fell short of performance model expectations. The ride was surprisingly comfortable even on rougher routes, even with the huge 22-inch wheels.

Especially in the Type S model with its additional features, the ZDX series is an attractive option for both casual driving and aggressive performance since it provides a good balance of comfort and power.

0–60-MPH Times

Like many electric vehicles, the ZDX Type S was impressed with its quick acceleration, hitting 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds during our test. Other variations we haven’t tested yet, the base rear-wheel-drive taking about 5.5 seconds to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour, it should be a little slower.

Range, Charging, and Battery Life

The Acura ZDX 2025 comes with a 102.0-kWh pack of GM’s Ultium battery, like that of the Cadillac Lyriq. According to the Officially EPA, the all-wheel-drive model’s range is 304 miles, while the rear drive A-Spec trim’s is 313 miles.

Although real-world testing shows 260 miles, the Type S has a lesser range of 278 miles. The ZDX can increase the A-Spec model’s range by 81 miles in just 10 minutes thanks to standard DC fast charging, which supports rates of up to 190 kW.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPGe

According to the Fuel Economy and real-world MPGe, the EPA’s combined rating the 90 MPGe, meanwhile the all-wheel drive’s variation has a combined 87 MPGe rating. The highway fuel economy examines that the ZDX type S performed not better than its 80 MPGe. Achieving 68 MPGe in our real-world world highway fuel economy test at 75 miles per hour.

Note: Visit the EPA website to learn more about the ZDX’s fuel efficiency with the details.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

There are two rows of seats for five people in every ZDX model. The ZDX has distinctive Acura styling, even though it shares significant parts with GM vehicles.

Model A-Spec vehicles have standards and come with 12-way power-adjustable front leather seating and heat and ventilation.

Although type S models have 16-way changes, the adjustable front seat with extensions and sunroof, heated steering wheel, and dual-zone climate control come with the standard features.

A-Spec vehicles have standard leather seating and 12-way power-adjustable front seats, while Type S models have 16-way changes. Dual-zone climate control, a power-adjustable column, a sunroof, and a heated steering wheel are standard features. With superb vision and a great driving position, the cabin is quiet the front and back seats are comfortable for long driving and the outside appearance is an excellent interior.
